Spiritual Suite is a 4 movement original choral composition by J. McKinnies. This recording is from his Senior Recital at Jacksonville University's Terry Hall. In this performance Maestro McKinnies serves as the soloist and conductor.

Red, Red, Rose SAA  Director J. McKinnies

This is a chorale performance by the San Juan Del Rio Chorale a 5th-8th grade choir founded in 2015 by maestro McKinnies. Though this is a concert from their first year, they are singing music directly from the Jacksonville University Music Library. The Maestro and his students present an expressive and nuanced rendition of the classic poem.

With Myztroh on the lyrics/vocals and Paten Locke on the beats we receive Stono Echo. This is their 1st music video published on Nov. 7, 2016 (Election Day).  Myztroh's velvety voice and skills as a wordsmith are clearly on display with this selection.

Jump Out Boys -  Stono Echo w/ The Dora Milaje (2017)

This footage was captured from a Stono Echo show in at the Soul Porch at the 2017 Porchfest in Jacksonville, Florida (Footage by Devita Robinson). The video does well in capturing the intensity and tone of the material being showcased. "Jump Out Boys" sonically, melodically and visually explore the terror that comes along with being unrightfully targeted by agents of law enforcement.

AfroPiano Preludes by J. McKinnies

These are two selections from the instrumental album Afropiano Preludes. This project features meditative improvisations that set the perfect backdrop for any occasion require a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Aquatic sounds and Myztroh's piano create an ambiance ideal for deep relaxation.

Flash! Impact - Stono Echo w/ Dora Milaje

Myztroh's rich vocal arranging on Stono Echo's recordings led him to creating the Dora Milaje for live shows accompaniaments. Their vocal textures add a perfect compliment. You can hear the fun and chemistry between the three (Fatima, Takara, & Kamille) and Myztroh as the sing this one like they are on the stoop. Listen in on their rehearsal.
