Jeremy McKinnies is a brilliant multi-faceted artist based out of Jacksonville, FL.

He is known for his passionate musicianship and as a music educator. Jeremy recently earned a Master of Music degree in choral conducting from UNF. His bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University, was in Music Theory and Composition. There, he earned the Frederick Delius Composition Award under the tutelage of Dr. Jianjan He. As a music educator he has taught general education music at San Juan Del Rio Catholic School and Christ the King. Since 2014 Mr. McKinnies has had a successful music lessons studio for piano and voice throughout Northeast Florida.

Mr. McKinnies’ experience as a musician is diverse. He has been performing in Northeast Florida as a vocalist and keyboardist for more than a decade. As a recording artist and songwriter, his music has been featured on various television programs and motion pictures including CBS’s “How I Met your Mother” and Paramount Pictures’ “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows”. In 2017 his group Stono Echo (with the late great Paten Locke) released the LP, Black Diamonds. His newest group, Cosmic Link, is an international collaboration with Bristol, UK based producer Ben Dubuisson. Their EP, Metaphysical will be available in October 2022 on record label High Noon.

Jeremy currently performs with bands Stono Echo, Cosmic Link, NightCrawler and Bold City Classics under the moniker, Jay Myztroh. He is also the Music Director for Unity Church for Creative Living.
